DJ Maguire Dental Group
Our Story
D J Maguire & Associates was established in October 1989. Since then, our journey has developed. We have grown to 12 practices and are supported by our bespoke communications Hub, a massive achievement in the companies’ progression. The DJ Maguire Dental Group of practices is now one of Northern Ireland’s largest dental companies, with ambitious plans to further expand. We have 11 practices over Northern Ireland, including:
As we have grown, we are proud to hold firm our family focused approach, the glue that binds our 11 practices together.
We are a company who strongly believes and focuses on helping people smile through improving oral health. For our patients this means delivering a standard of care which is consistently high, from start to finish. We are proud to welcome new and existing patients to our practices every day and our patient journey is of key importance to us. We make every contact count.
At 1st visit appointments we will examine the patient’s teeth and soft tissues thoroughly, including an oral cancer screen. A thorough tooth evaluation recording gum health and relevant radiographs will be taken to aid diagnosis.
We offer a great variety of dental treatments to our patients including implants, crown work, tooth whitening, white fillings, veneers, dentures, root canal treatment, oral health advice, hygienist services at specific sites, orthodontic treatment, sports mouthguards, and much more. Anxious patients are offered treatment in a relaxed environment with use of relative analgesia. We arrange to book every patient’s 6-monthly check-up appointment at the end of their visit.
We treat all members of the public, both adults and children and are a leading provider of Health Service and private dental treatment throughout Northern Ireland. We are a proud provider of Health Service dental treatment to approximately 90% of our patients. All patients are entitled to NHS treatment and these treatments receive 20% funding from the Health Service for patients who pay for dental treatment.
We strive to improve our patients’ self-esteem, self-image and confidence by involving patients in decisions and offering patients appropriate choice in their treatment. We promote good standards of oral health to our patients and we guarantee our patients complete confidentiality.
Accessibility is key. We offer extended opening hours in a number of our practices to include early morning and late week night appointments. And for those patients who are unable to attend the surgery, we offer home visits. There is no extra charge for this service through the Health Service. Further, we endeavour to make special arrangements for those patients who are in pain during surgery hours. We make available a number of appointment slots throughout the working day to accommodate our patients and we strive to see emergencies, normally within 24 hours.
